Carlos brings over 25 years of experience in digital transformation and cybersecurity, leading significant digital and cybersecurity projects for a variety of international consultancies, state-owned entities, including lottery and postal government entities, and global corporations.
Before joining the GCGRA, he has served as the Chief Information Officer and General Manager of different holdings and entities in UAE since 2019.
Carlos holds a Ph.D. in Distributed Systems Security, an MSc in Computer Sciences, and has studied at renowned institutions such as MIT Sloan, INSEAD, and IE Business School. Certified in CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, and PMP, Carlos has also authored over 40 influential papers and books in cybersecurity.
